Water Features for Health Care Facilities

Join Ed Beaulieu as he tours 3 sustainable water features that were installed at Living Well Cancer Center in Geneva, IL. This project showcases three sustainable water features including a basalt rock fountainscape, pondless waterfall, and ecosystem pond. The goal is to create a serene environment for the patients and family members of the facility during treatments.

Health care facilities are recognizing the need for soothing environments for their patients.

“Hospital patients who have a view of natural landscapes recover faster from surgery and require less pain medication. In addition, heart rate, blood pressure, and other measures return to normal levels more quickly.”
