Check out this sweet video depicting the installation of our Hardscape Display. A paver walkway was installed through the existing parking lot. The walkway connects our large outdoor living display area to the front entrance of our Creative Center. We saw cut and removed the desired section of asphalt in the parking lot. Once the asphalt was all removed we began to prep the stone and setting sand base for the concrete pavers. Techo Bloc pavers were used to create this walkway through the parking lot.
While the paver walkway was being installed, work was also being done on a small seating wall. The seating wall is located by the front entrance to the Creative Center. Again we had to saw cut and remove the existing asphalt and began to prep the base. The seating wall was installed using Techo Bloc wall block. Finishing off the wall, we used natural stone caps. The stone caps were blow torched to give a natural looking rough edge.
Also involved in this project was the removal of part on an existing paver walkway. A new walkway was installed also using Techo Bloc pavers in it’s place. The new walkway boarders one of our many pondless waterfalls on site, as well as the entrance to our creative center.
These hardscape display additions came shortly after a major over haul to our display area. You can check out more on the previous phase of our display installation below
Upon entering the property, first thing to catch your eye is a fairly large-scale water feature. The water feature consist of an ecosystem pond. The water starts to flow from a spillway bowl fountain. The spillway pours into the bog filter. The water then flows down various cascading waterfalls. The waterfalls and pond were constructed out of 2 different types of boulders. We did this to show various options available. There is a gigantic boulder fountain that is incorporated into the pond as well. There is a skimmer in the pond the show functionality. The pond then flows over a zero edge waterfall into a large basin. Atop the basin is 3 fountains. 2 bubbling urn fountains as well as fire bowl fountain.
The patio area incorporates different styles and colors of pavers. Along with different styles of boarders. There is 2 seating walls on either side of the patio area. Each seating wall has a mixture of stone and brick veneer and topped with flagstone caps. There is a very unique shed next to the patio area. Surrounding the patio are we installed an outdoor audio system as well. This system cranks out some serious sound. Stop by and have a listen!
If you’re in the Lancaster area be sure to stop by and check it out!!! Visitors are always welcome.
